You will be working at the Robot Lab, home of the Digital Production Research Group, part of the Faculty of Technology. In a nice, diverse, and multinational team of researchers and educators in the new Jakoba Mulderhuis on the Amstel campus of the HvA in Amsterdam. Here's how you will make a difference
You will be working within the digital production research group supporting researchers during their daily work. Under supervision you will help answer specific research sub-questions for larger projects like the European project WoodCircles. This you will do by analysing literature, interviewing partners or executing small tests. You will regularly present your findings within the research group. You will help with the supervision of students linked to the projects. In addition, you get the opportunity to work in the RobotLab developing novel digital production methodologies and applications. You will assist in all phases of the quantitative and qualitative research process (surveys, focus groups, interviews), including study design, questionnaire draughting, fielding, data analysis & reporting. Assists in communicating results.
Your other perks
- A gross monthly salary between €3.376,- and €4.909,- (Hay profile Onderwijs/onderzoekmedewerker 2, scale 9 of the higher education collective labour agreement), with a full-time appointment and depends on education and experience.
- An end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and holiday allowance of 8% of your gross annual salary.
- 10.7 holiday weeks per year with a 40-hour working week.

What you bring to the table

- Bachelor in a relevant field (e.g., built environment)
- Knowledge of the digital production domain
- Affinity with architectural design is a plus
